Eating Habits

He shares, promise. He'll just get the toppings, those mini M&M's and sugar sprinkles, then give you back almost everything. But if you give him a plate of rice and green leaf veggie or spaghetti and pizza, he'll eat them all.

And lately he eats animals too.

Letting him eat isn't a problem, though sometimes he prefers sweets, lollipops, candies and chocolate still fruits and vegetables and rice, pasta and pizza still wins.

Happy Four Years SisterArt!

Being 'the party planner' in the family, finding for a supplier whom you can trust is somewhat tricky, but thanks to the magic world of multiply, I get to meet the two sisters behind SisterArt - Rica and Kim, I first then ordered 100 pieces of cupcakes (October2008) for my Dad's 70th and Kuya Ryan's birthday party.

And that's where it all started, whenever there's a celebration there's SisterArt!

Recipe: Shrimp with Sweet and Sour Sauce

You got..

• Shrimp? (Yes, from my Dad's Fishpond)
• EVOO? (Check!) 
• Garlic, lots of it? (Check!) 
• Sweet Chili Sauce? (Check!)
• Toasted Garlic (Optional) because I love Garlic (Check!)

This is easy. I promise. 

1. Saute the garlic until brown in EVOO..

2. Put the shrimps in..

3. Add in the your sweet chili sauce.  





4. Serve. I topped it with toasted garlic.
5. ENJOY! SHARE! Eat with your hands and 3 cups of rice.

One Saturday Away

For the weeks passed,aside from my two days of work, It's hard to find the time to take Travis outside, but then I saw the details of the #MercatoTweetUp, (truth is I've been wanting to visit the Mercato Centrale @BGC since ages) and decided to tag along my girl Sofie too, glad I did. 

And since we're outside na, we made the most of it! 

Where we are yesterday? 

1. Mercato Centrale @BGC - Food festival, organic products, beverages, dried products  and possible suppliers for birthdays and events too.

This day was fun-filled. I wanna do this again but one place at a day next time. Haha.

Glam-O-Mama's Nutritional Cooking Class

Who wouldn't want this?

I don't. So, when I read Jenni Epperson's blog post about Glam-o-Mama's Nutritional Class, I then emailed and reserve a slot for myself. (Held March 1, Sorry for the delayed post)

For Moms, we should know how to introduce "Nutrition" to our babies/kids diet. And it's never too late for me, since Travis is just starting to munch on solid foods. He loves Broccoli and I'm happy with it.. But after the Nutritional Class, I know I could give more. Nutrition awareness for us, Mom are one of the best things we can do for our babies, for they'll help in developing our child both physically and mentally. Many thanks to Glam-O-Mama Amanda and Oh Baby's Mommy Chefs Reb and Tina for teaming up for this event.

Introducing our babies to Nutrition isn't that hard, the two Mom Chef's 12 easy to prepare dishes are one way to start it. And I for myself already tried preparing Steamed Fish in Apple Sauce, and it's a hit not just for my lil Travis but also to my Dad and Mom. Who wouldn't think that we can eat what our little ones eat? Our little ones' food should NOT be limited to what groceries and supermarkets offers, let's go beyond - besides we want whats best for them, right? I'll be sharing some of the recipes as I prepare them for Travis. And oh, don't forget to serve them in colorful plates too..

Food Trips with Him and Him

I miss every second of it. We both gain enough carbo for us to reach almost 200pounds. And now we're both trying to lose it. LOL. Knowing our favorite food is Crispy Knuckles (Crispy Pata) Sharing food and good laugh is how we spend our time together.. If there's food in front of us, then we're BUSY. (One of our stolen shot)

And now that we have our Little Man who loves food rather than toys, yes he does! Then soon, it's gonna be Dad, Mom and Travis on THAT food table..

Mann Hann Restaurant

Two weeks ago, we had a BIG BIG lunch at Mann Hann, just before the day I was admitted in the hospital (Labor then starts)..

Had Beef with Broccoli (the Husband's favorite)

Then I get to try their Lechon Macau with its special sauce. Liked it.

Sizzle us, Sizzling Pepper Steak..

Last night while having our midnight coffee and walking around Eastwood, Boyfie and I witnessed an amazing firework show, too bad we don't have phone or digital camera to have it in video, it was nice. I'm so excited to watch the Pyro Olympics next weekend with my family..

Then we we're thinking to try a new resto the next day for lunch..

Sizzling Pepper Steak is brought to us by the same person behind the Teriyaki Boy chain. It is more or less based on the Japanese chain called "Pepper Lunch". New approach on serving sizzling steaks than the usual on food courts - we likey.. The pepper rice meals are served on hot plates with the meat only slightly cooked. You'll have to finish cooking it yourself before you can eat. After the meat is cooked you're supposed to mix it all together with the rice, and you can add sauces (available on your table) if you wish to make it more flavorful. They're good huh, in service and food too :) Why? Let me take you on our list..

1. Uses STOP RED and MOOOOOOVE signage: Just flip their Moo-flips from Stop (red) to Mooooove (green) and their friendly staff will attend to you.. Fun! :)

2. Their short and easy-to-use menus are 5 stars! (for me)

3. Puts YOU on charge. Order slip IN-YOUR-HANDS..

4. Classic Corn Soup, so rich and flavorish!

5. Bay Calamari with Tartare Sauce for appetizer? Crunchy! (Notice who's enjoying?)

6. Here's our Beef Pepper Steak, their Best Seller - Winner!

Sizzling Pepper Steak is different from Pepper Lunch (Now, its confusing) But will try to eat one time at Pepper Lunch, it's the original, right?

Johnny Rockets: 50's music, Jukebox and Buuuurgers!

Living within Eastwood City, opened our eyes to new shops and restaurants to explore.. First on the list was Johnny Rockets, located just outside Eastwood Mall, with friendly crew who dances on idle time or even to entertain their customers wow-ed us.. :) Not to mention their big yummy burger, fresh veggies on it. And those onion rings makes me smile.. :)

Sorry If I'll make you salivate with those photos, but while blogging I'm still seeing people all lined up for seats, and it's already 10 in the evening. Pinoy loves eating talaga!
