Travis' First Week at School

Travis is a big boy now, a toddler. I should admit that. At 2 years and 8 month old, the babydaddy and I decided to enroll him in a summer class for Toddlers where we got Reading, Writing and Math as his subjects for now. 

He's a good boy, I was with him the whole time and being a strong and independent boy I know (just like his Dad) he survived his first day (and eventually his first week) which made me so proud of. 

He's taking baby(toddler) steps to be with kids his age, both boys and girls too, and we think he'll go well.

His summer class lasts until May 15, from there we thought of looking for other pre-school for him for school year 2013-2014, and I don't think I'm ready, yet. 

Oh, did I say I bought him one set of uniform. Well, I wanna make him feel how to be a real student with uniform, it suits him well and he likes it. 

Thank You Weekend

-- For letting us spend the whole day playing with Travis. 

-- You make me cook for lunch and dinner. 

-- I have me-time inside the bathroom, and that includes cleaning it! 

-- Watching Toy Story 3 on his iPad the whoooooooole day. And seeing Travis talk like Woody, Buzz and Bulleye (Jessie's Horse) 

So HAPPY WEEKEND All, I am waiting for this day since last week. Until next.

He Loves Oranges

Two days after his birthday celebration, our Travis had colds, some say it's his party's hangover, some say probably because of his Tarzan costume he wore earlier that day for a pictorial -- for whatever reason he got colds - I need to do something about it. So aside from his usual vitamins, he had oranges everyday, good thing he loved it. Tell you, I myself doesn't like fruits but I told Travis (though he might not understand it yet, now) I want him to know fruits are just one of the best thing in this world. 

Now, he's getting better. From his last check up, 5 days ago, his Pedia says he got bronchitis and have to undergo medication for almost 8 days to 2 weeks. He just met Nilo, the nebulizer, if and ever this bronchitis comes back after 3 months, then he might have asthma, forgive me but I don't know anything about asthma, good thing the Husband knows how to operate Nilo and what to do and what-not. Thank God for Husbands who's on-hand with their babies. He's my orange now. 

Hey, don't forget to eat some oranges. Trust me. You'll smile to it's sweetness! Have a great week ahead!  

BTS: Photoshoot with Daddy

Who's tired? And the photo shoot really haven't started yet.

They definitely had a good time, agree?

The Husband being away for 10 months deserves that photo shoot with his boy, Travis. 

And they have lots of good shots too, can't wait to see them all. 

Travis and Daddy J had the best time. They always have. I'm happy seeing them together, that it seems there were no days, months apart. One funny thing that Travis does is when you tell him to call Daddy, he'll put his hand on his ear (as if holding a phone) and say Da-da-da. Hahaha. 

Just yesterday, we had lunch with my family's side and dinner with his side. We enjoyed and had so much fun. And that was our weekend, how's yours?

Step Ahead at 10 months

This I have to share.

One boring afternoon, at the living room. Waiting for Upin and Ipin. 

There he is, making his few steps. I'm a proud Momma. 

And that's one good welcome news for the Daddy who's coming home. 

When All Else Fails, Try Gelatissimo

It was the last weekend we had Yaya slash Helper Laila, and that's the last time I get to enjoy my me-time at the salon without worrying about my little man. But Monday came and everything turns upside down-down, she left. And all is left with me, honestly it is hard. Good thing Travis's a good boy, (the Mom here speaking)   I could just dump all his toys and play with him on the bed, we danced to J Lo's On the Floor and Katy Perry's Peacock, oh, you must really see how he dance. 

But when he ends up crying, I'll pause, look at him and do funny faces just to cheer him up. I may not have long, longer patience when he cries, but thanks to food and his bicycle, we're both relieved. 

Just then I am thankful for Gelatissimo, for giving me the umph, aaaaah, whew over the weekend that I really need. A gelato saved the weekend, can I have one again next weekend and this time with the Husband?

And Angel (our househelp) loves cooking like I do. I bought her (and I) recipe books.

And since I have something for myself, ofcourse the little Travis have his too.

Mommy Moments | Purple

Okay, just then I realized Travis doesn't have any Purple clothes, yet. So am gonna get him one. Haha.

So for now, we'll have Ninang Labs Leona and Tita Denise in their purple top (see that stripe) and dress, while Travis is on their lap.

Travis: Taho, Lab Kita

Kada umaga, eksaktong alas-9, inaantay ko si Kuya JR na mangtataho. Suki namin siya. Magtataho din ang Tatay niya,na suki naman ng Lolo ko. Noong nasa loob pa ako ng sinapupunan ni Mommy, natikman ko na to, pamilyar na siya sakin, paborito siya ni Mommy kaya't nung pwede na akong kumain, pinatikim ako mismo ng Mommy ko. Gusto ko siya, ang lambot, manamisnamis kahit dinadaya nila ako at wala palang arnibal at sago yun. Masaya ako kasi kapag tulog pa ang Mommy ko at dadaan na si Kuya, pinalalagyan ko ng konting-konting-konting arnibal.

Nakakatuwa si Kuya JR, kasi kapag madami kaming biniling taho, nililibre nya ung akin, hindi pa naman daw ako malakas kumain e, pero kung tutuusin, malaki na nga tong tiyan ko, madami na nakakapansin e, pero ayus lang, cute pa din ako sa paningin ng Mommy ko, lalo na ng Daddy ko.
